We are a Social Work community of more than 160 members from 11 countries who have a special interest in Acquired Brian Injury (ABI). We share information such as resources, research, queries, conferences. We also publish 2 progress reports per year. Through international collaboration, to advance the Social Work contribution to the field of acquired brain injury [ABI] for the benefit of people with ABI, their families, significant others and broader support networks.


AIM

INSWABI will fulfil this mission by addressing the following objectives:
(i) Information exchange
(ii) Development,
(iii) Supporting best practice
(iv) Advocacy
(v) Innovation and research
(vi) Education among social workers with an interest in ABI.

 

Addressing these objectives will contribute to the promotion of the Social Work profession in the field of ABI.
